A Message from our Pastor - Fr. Brandon Nguyen, C.S.Sp.

My dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

With grateful hearts, Fr. Huy and I are very pleased to bring you good news. Both of us, home from the hospital since July 25th and in self-quarantined for fourteen days, have tested several times negative for the COVID-19 virus and are feeling better and stronger every day. We are so grateful and thankful for God’s mercy & healing grace; for the prayers and support from our St. Benedict’s church community for our recovery.

Further good news, starting this coming Monday (August 24, 2020), the masses will again be live streamed on Periscope. This will be the first phrase of returning to live streaming the masses again, and we are hopefully that everything will work out well. Unfortunately, we will not be able to re-open the church for public masses at this time.  Please continue to keep the protocol of wearing masks, sanitize, washing hands and social distance.

We thank you all for your support in your contributions to our parish. We know these are not easy times, and we appreciate the help and support that you give to St. Benedict’s parish.  Please continue to make your donations in support of our parish, so that the parish will be able to take care of its financial obligations during these difficult times. Your contributions can be brought to the Parish Office, or can be made online at the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston Parish Online Giving Link:  https://www.archgh.org/parishoffertory

Again, thank you for your continued prayers and support. May God’s blessings and mercy be with you all.  GRATEFUL – THANKFUL – BLESSED!

Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Fr. Brandon Nguyen, C.S.Sp.
Pastor
